WORKING IN DUBAI AS REGISTERED NURSES

Indians are well known for their hardworking nature and for adjusting to a variety of situations in a relatively short time. That is among one of the reasons why many countries welcome and in fact prefer workers from India. Also, once they settle into a new country if things go well and they can get their family along, they are most happy to relocate or become citizens of a new country thereby assuring loyalty to their organization. Indians are counted upon by many countries for reputable job positions. For nurses too, the above-mentioned factors come into play when they seek employment. Many nurses think of going and working abroad since the work conditions, salary and the level of healthcare are far better when compared to their own country. For these purposes, the Dubai Health Authority invites nurses from all over the world including India to come and work in Dubai.

In order to work in Dubai, it is important to pass the DHA examination. It is a test conducted to assess the knowledge level and thinking capacity of nurses and to determine if they can deliver a reasonable standard of nursing care in the healthcare setup of Dubai. This exam consists of 70 questions which are asked in the form of multiple questions with only one best answer. It lasts for a total of two hours and the passing criteria are at least sixty percent which means a candidate will have to score at least forty-two questions correct. While it is true that the desired passing percentage is quite high, so is the standard of life after one gets a nursing job in Dubai!

Dubai happens to be the most populated city in the Emirati Kingdom and is the second largest city in terms of landmass. A whopping eighty-three percentage of the population are Indians which makes it clear as to why you should seriously think about seeking a job in Dubai, especially if you are a nurse.
