All the Banks in India conduct various exams every year for the recruitment of candidates for different posts such as Bank Clerks, Bank PO (Probationary Officers) and SO (Specialist Officers).
Last year more than 5 million candidates applied for these exams and only one fifth cleared the exam and out of which only one third got selected. Pattern of Exams: This exam is conducted in two phases. First paper is called ‘Preliminary exam’ and the second paper is called ‘Mains exam’ and then there is an Interview followed by group discussion (It is conducted depending upon the bank recruitment procedure).
