TRICKS and TIPS FOR OET Listening??

Sometimes they not even able to write down all the notes because of pace of listening. So, don’t worry here we’ll provide you all the TRICKS and TIPS which will help you in your listening tasks and also to get B GRADE. Listening module consists of two parts i.e. Part A and Part B; Part A always have conversation between Doctor and Patient who converse on any issue and as you are being listening to them you going to make notes on it. On the other Part that’s Part B in that you going to listen a Lecture on any topic, disease, organization or any clinical issue. So, strategies are different for both parts.

Part A
·        Always write in note form(means not full sentence)
·        Just need to know issue and reason
·        Read the point and understand it because you need to write only related notes.
·        Write as much point as you can so at the end you can choose which one is important for you.
·        Listen with concentration as they speak like native so, it’s better to listen each and everything what they saying, usually patient only speaks answer.
Part B
·        As we know this part has lecture on different-different topics, means we’ll get questions according to that.
·        Questions and Answer, True-False and Filling in the Blanks.
·        This part is quite easy as compare to Part A, but candidates usually do very silly mistakes in that.
·        Lecture is in the same chronology as questions are, so need to go up and down.
·        Write to the point because more you’ll write more there is chance of doing mistake.

OVERALL
·        Speed up yourself, listen and write at same time
·        Do as much practice as you can
·        Try to learn the medical vocabulary, mostly they use it.
·        Don’t try to make your own assumptions, stick to the listening
·        Always have at least two pencils with you, so it won’t divert your concentration in sharping the pencil.

Why PTE? Many candidates come and ask the same question again and again that why PTE, why not IELTS. Just to clear this question first of all I would like to say that it all depends upon the candidate’s choice which exam he/she prefer, but it is also very important to know about both the exam what they are and what are patterns of that exam. However, there are many benefits of PTE ( Pearson Tests of English ) on other exams are like, Firstly it is computer based exam - All the modules are on the computer specifically the person who are good at writing and familiar with the computer it is easy for them and also for the candidates who’s handwriting is very bad and also for the them who feel hesitation when they speak in front of others.   Secondly, the result is pretty fast because it is checked by computer -  Candidates who are in hurry to know their results and want to fill the further papers, usually go for PTE because you can have your result withi...
