Most of the students get struggled while doing OET listening
as it’s very hard to understand the slang and accent of the speaker. Sometimes
they not even able to write down all the notes because of pace of listening. So,

consists of two parts i.e. Part A and Part B; Part A always have conversation

parts.
Part
A

Always write in note form(means not full sentence)

write only related notes.

choose which one is important for you.

Listen with concentration as they speak like native
so, it’s better to listen each and everything what they saying, usually patient
only speaks answer.
Part B
·
As we know this part has lecture on
different-different topics, means we’ll get questions according to that.
·
Questions and Answer, True-False and Filling in the
Blanks.
·
This part is quite easy as compare to Part A, but
candidates usually do very silly mistakes in that.
·
Lecture is in the same chronology as questions are, so
need to go up and down.
·
Write to the point because more you’ll write more
there is chance of doing mistake.
OVERALL
·
Speed up yourself, listen and write at same time
·
Do as much practice as you can
·
Try to learn the medical vocabulary, mostly they use
it.
·
Don’t try to make your own assumptions, stick to the
listening
·
Always have at least two pencils with you, so it won’t
divert your concentration in sharping the pencil.
