Prepare Yourself for CLAT Exam
CLAT stands for Common Law Admission Test conducted on rotation basis by 18 National Law Universities (NLUs) for admission into Graduate Programs and Post Graduate Programs. This exam, is taken by those students who want to pursue their career in Law.

- Students are selected on the basis of merit
- This exam of 2 hours
- Multiple choice questions are asked
- Total 200 marks
- 0.25 marks is deducted for wrong answers that means there is negative marking.
- Different colleges have different cut offs.
Eligibility criteria for CLAT 2018
For Under graduate program
(a) Forty-five percent (45%) marks in case of candidates belonging to Unreserved/OBC/ (Specially Abled Persons) Categories and
(b) Forty percent (40%) marks in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST Category
2. Candidates who are appearing in the qualifying examination in April/May 2018 are also eligible for appearing in CLAT-2018 examination. However, they shall be required to produce an evidence of their passing the qualifying examination at the time of admission, failing which they shall lose their right to be considered for admission.
For Post Graduate program
1. LL.B. or equivalent degree in law examination with a minimum of 55% marks in case of Unreserved/OBC/ (Especially abled persons) categories and 50% marks in case of SC/ST category
2. Candidates who are appearing in the qualifying examination in March/April 2018 are also eligible for appearing in CLAT-2018 examination. However, they shall be required to produce evidence of their passing the qualifying examination in the respective National Law Universities at the time of admission failing which they shall lose their right to be considered for admission.
3. No upper age limit is prescribed for appearing in CLAT-2018
