v The first thing to do is try to stay calm and relaxed so that your mind get enough oxygen to generate ideas and vocabulary according to the question.
v Try to be fluent by maintaining a proper pace so that you can answer smoothly. You need not rush to impress the examiner as haste in giving answer may cause the problem.
v Try to give the answers in a natural way according to the situation.
v Speak more than the examiner.
v Practice regularly using a voice recorder. This will develop your confidence and it will also improve your way of expressing your thoughts and ideas.
v Ask for clarification if necessary. 
v Another problem that students face is the lack of expressions while speaking. Many students speak in a monotonous tone as they are reading an essay. To overcome this problem they should watch the videos and note their expressions by speaking in front of a mirror.
